DKSR - Urban Data Summit

For the 3rd Data Week Leipzig 2024, the new Data Week partner, the Data Competence Centre for Cities and Regions (DKSR), will host the Urban Data Summit (UDS). The official partner of the UDS is the Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER). The City of Leipzig will be represented at the UDS with individual programme items. The UDS focuses on sustainable municipal design through data and digitalisation. The summit offers a varied and, above all, interactive programme on digital applications and scalability, which highlights the potential of digitalisation and data use in specific urban work areas. Relevant municipal stakeholders will be brought together for comprehensive data-based solutions and encouraged to engage in application- and action-oriented dialogue and joint implementation.

Registration for the Urban Data Summit and programm

With the exception of a few lecture sessions, which are open to all Data Week participants, the Urban Data Summit is aimed exclusively at local authorities (municipalities and municipal companies). They have the opportunity to receive a voucher via DKSR, which can be used to purchase a ticket for 17 April at the Data Week (limited number). Registration is therefore initially via the DKSR website. Municipalities that register for the Urban Data Summit also have the opportunity to take part in Data Week/City of Leipzig events on 16 April via their registration for 17 April (limited number).
