The Program
Monday
According to the motto “Connecting people - using data”, this year’s Data Week Leipzig will focus on the topics of the digital city that have emerged around various concepts, data and user communities.
Monday focuses on “Responsibility in the digital world”. In addition to the opening of the Data Week with a welcoming address by Saxony’s Minister of State for Regional Development, Thomas Schmidt, and the keynote presentation by Telekom MMS on »Sustainability in digitalisation projects«, the focus will be on responsibility in the technical and organisational management of data projects and data project teams (Data Science Mania), and on responsibility in the protection and enforcement of digital rights. The winners of the 2nd Leipzig Open Data Hackathon will also be presented and honoured. The programme will be complemented by two training sessions on the topics of “Agile Kata - a repeatable path for more business agility with fewer blueprints” and “Collaborative working and version control with Git”.
