 y networks. This presentation focuses on the problem of a lack of transpar
 ency in global supply chains and the challenges for security authorities. 
 Using examples from emergency medicine\, it will explain how local invento
 ries can be optimised and supply dependencies mapped in order to minimise 
 supply risks. A GPT4-based solution will be presented that extracts specif
 ic information from specialised databases to increase transparency and imp
 rove security of supply. The focus is on proactive strategies to strengthe
 n resilience in times of crisis.
